From humble beginnings...
Aygee Gippsland Pty. Ltd. was founded in the regional city of Traralgon, Victoria, Australia by Arch Graham in 1950 when he commenced producing cordials and milk bar syrups from his home garage. Arch enticed his brother Allan Graham to move from Melbourne in 1951 to join him, as both had worked for Lawrence Flavours.
With this previous experience the brothers were able to produce products for a ready-made market that was in short supply in the years following World War II. By 1952 the growth of the business made it necessary to build a factory in Tanjil Street, Traralgon where bottling of "Aygee" aerated water commenced. In 1958 "Aygee" Lemonade won first prize at the Royal Melbourne Show. In 1963 Aygee Gippsland was appointed the Gippsland distributor and franchise bottler for Schweppes drinks. The continued growth of the business enabled the company to move into new premises built by the company at Eastern Road, Traralgon in 1977. Distribution of confectionery was introduced in 1995, which added a large and varied range of new products.
